ArtStart Japanese Origami and Ribbon Ornaments

The New Ulm Public Library will be hosting an art class on Wednesday, August 10 at 1 p.m. in the library’s meeting room. Class participants will be making ornaments using traditional origami paper folding techniques as taught by Linda Hashimoto, founder of Sansei Yonsei Kai Japanese Dance Ensemble. This class is designed for ages 16 and up with a limit of 12 participants. Call 507-359-8331 or click the link to register for the class. This free program is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
