November is National Novel Writing Month! This year, the New Ulm Public Library is an official “Come Write In!” location. Many people have been thinking about writing a book thanks to lockdown fever this past year. Why not take the plunge and let the library be your space to get your ideas on paper? The library will have quiet areas for new and established authors to get down to writing (or typing) their next book. We’ll also have two workshops to help with ideas and refining your craft. Join us throughout the month and see what you can accomplish!

Are you ready to explore The Grand Library? Do you have an itch in your imagination or an ache for adventure? Then come join one of two groups on the epic search for Books Wanted! One group will be meeting in person weekly on Tuesday afternoons at 4:15 PM at Red Dragon Gaming. The other group will be meeting online according to player schedules using Discord and Roll20 applications. Never played Pathfinder before? No problem! Our experienced Game Master will be happy to walk you through the game learning process so you can enjoy the roleplaying experience. This first campaign is limited to 6 people per group so be sure to sign up early to help set a schedule that works well for everyone playing. If there is enough interest we can create more groups or run campaigns using other games too! If you are interested in joining the online campaign, you can click the interest form link on the right side of the page.
