Absentee Voter Eligibility
You are entitled to vote by absentee ballot for every election when you are unable to go to your polling place due to:
- Absence from the precinct
- Illness or disability
- Religious discipline or observance
- Service as an election judge in another precinct

You may obtain an absentee ballot by applying in person at:

Absentee Ballot by Mail
You may also request an absentee ballot by mail, by using a form that the Auditor-Treasurer has provided, by downloading a form from the Minnesota Secretary of State website, or by writing a card or letter that indicates essential points.

- The voter's date of birth (optional)

- Where the clerk should mail the ballot to
