The scheduled Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Recreation Center for this Sunday, October 24, HAS JUST BEEN POSTPONED.
This postponement is due to an unforeseen failure of the Air Handling Unit (AHU) in the Vogel Fieldhouse portion of the Recreation Center. This is the only AHU in the building that was not replaced during the recent expansion and renovation. The Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place after the AHU is operational. The replacement timing is uncertain, due to pandemic supply chain delays. The public will be notified when the new date is set.
