New Ulm Public Utilities has been successful in preventing a water and sewer rate increase since 2014 despite rising costs and increased regulation. A Cost of Service Study conducted in 2021 recommended a water and sewer rate increase for New Ulm’s customers in order to support the operational and capital needs of the Utility and continue to meet all regulations set by State and Federal agencies.
